VII International Assembly of tourist business had taken place in the concert-exhibition hall of the Odessa Sea Commercial Terminal in April 8-10, 2010, the organizer of which is the exhibition company “Expo-Yug-Service”.

The project was supported by the Ministry of culture and tourism of Ukraine, Odessa regional state administration, Odessa City Council.

Traditionally within the limits of the project specialized exhibitions “Tourmarket” and “Hotel” took place, where the most popular and actual kinds of tourism and leisure both on the territory of Ukraine and abroad, new tourist programs and routs and everything necessary for completion of the hotel business enterprises were present.

In general more than 120 companies from Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Czech Republic and some other countries took part in the exhibitions.

Services on organization of tourist trips to different countries presented such tourist companies as “Feerie”, “Tartus-tour”, “Amigo tour”, “Velkom”, “Blesk tour”, “Otkrityi Mir”, “Londonskaya”, “Kazkovi Mandri”, “Navigator”, “Travel  professional group”, “Vilkovo Tour” and other. Everyone could get the maximum information about the most interesting and actual tours of the following season, learn about their specialties, and buy the tours on special prices on the sands of each company due to the actual exhibition prices.

The number of foreign participants, comparing with the previous year, increased in two. Traditionally, in the work of the Assembly took part Poland Republic. To get acquainted with the tourist potential of the country it was possible on the stands of Lublinsky and Podlyassky regions. Huge attention of the visitors was draw to the stands of Czech Republic and Turkey, where everyone could learn about the features of rest and recreation in these countries and get plenty of other useful information.

In the exhibition of 2010 the main attention was draw to the rest in Ukraine, especially in Odessa region. Leading hotels, rest houses, sanatoria of Odessa region presented their services. Among them there were such resort-recreational establishments as “Ruta”, “Izumrud”, “Santa-O”, “Odissey”, “Blik”, “Pelikan”, “Ozerki”, “Liman”, “Belaya Akatsiya”, “Nemo”, “Yunost’”, “Valentina”, “Lermontovsky”, “Kurortniy” etc.

Exposition of the “Hotel-2010” exhibition was presented by the enterprises specialized at hotel complexes complectation, which present equipment, hotel accessories, uniform, mini perfumery, automatization and program supplement of hotels. Interior offers “Hotel equipment”, “Cholser”, “Lux mebli”, “Trembita”, “Mogoteks”, “Orshansky l’nokombinat”, “Korolevsky textile”suggested on their stands.

Within the limits of the Assembly-2010 the raw of events took place both for the specialists of tourist brunch and for the customers of tourist services.

One of the main events became the Round table “New opportunities of tourist brunch development in Dunaysky regions”, the organizer of which became International independent organization “Dunaysky influence center”. Questions of creation dealing with the possibilities of project realization of bicycle, wine, culture routs in Ukrainian cities and Odessa regions were discussed during the round table.

Also within the limits of business program took place the VI quarterly seminar in the framework of project “Strengthening of co-border integration in the sphere of green and rural tourism” realization. During the seminar questions connected with the development of rural tourism in Odessa region were discussed, and also the presentation of Tourist guide-book on Odessa region took place/ The presentation draw attention both the specialists of tourist industry and customers.

Besides, presentations and seminars of tourist companies due to new directions and routs were provided on the stands of participants and in the conference-halls.

All the visitors had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the most interesting spring and summer tours, get qualified consultations of the specialists and to learn about the specifications of the liked tour but also to take part in special actions of the project, such as draw of tours and “Wedding Journey”.

Action “Wedding Journey” was held for the first time within the limits of the Assembly of tourist business. Young couples which have registered their marriage during the period from the 1st of January till the 10th of April, 2010 in any of Registry Offices of Odessa took part in this event. Among all of them 10 tours for the rest in Ukraine and abroad were presented.

General partner of the action “Wedding Journey” became tourist “Feerie” company.
